I’ve been back from Florida (which has been great to me, by the way) since Saturday and have gone a bit crazy switching my manis out. So I bring to you a spam of pictures and manicures that I’ve done.

 Base: Rimmel Night Before
Stamped: Pure Ice Outrageous
Bundle Monster plate
 Base: Milani 3D (holographic collection)
Checkers: Zoya Savita
I wasn’t nuts about this one. You Just Wait would make a nice base for a muted down french, but I couldn’t get the french tip stamp to cooperate with me.. See how they all kind of lopside?
Base: Sinful Colors You Just Wait
Stamped: Color Club Where’s the Soiree?
Bundle Monster plate
Base: Essie Nice is Nice (From their Spring 2011 collection)
Stamped: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Jumpin’ Jade
Konad
I bring to you my official favorite yellow as of now. Needs about three coats as it is streaky, but evens out and builds up nicely. Also looked great on me.
Avon Sunshine
What I have on now. Nummy.
Avon Powerful Pink with Nfu Oh 48 layered over.

This is the last of my scheduled posts, and the last of my manicures. I decided to go out with a bang and experiment with sponging, a technique I have not really fully mastered. But I love it! I think I made a mistake picking such a herpes-tastic glitter. 😦 It was so hard to clean up, and you can still see some residue in the following photos. I apologize!

I began with a base color from Avon, also in my haul recently. This is Luxe Lavender, a very beautiful pale lilac. In love, I am.

I sponged Milani Purple Gleam on the tips and stamped with Sally Hansen Chrome in Black Pearl, with Konad M60. Inside the flowers are bullion beads from a Bundle Monster nail art package.

Here comes pic spam!

Topped off with Seche Vite, of course.
I am almost done with  my first bottle, wow… But it makes sense, I do other people’s nails and finish it off with SV, and a friend comes over and uses some of it too so that’s why it would go so quickly.

This is hands down one of my most favorite manicures EVAR.

Here be my mani for St Patty’s Day!!

Base color: China Glaze Tree Hugger
Freehanded (lol, isn’t it obvious? =S) China Glaze Starboard (from their current Anchors Away! spring 2011 collection) in various designs. Don’t worry, it’ll all settle themselves out…

Stamped with a Born Pretty fauxnad plate M71, with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Jumpin’ Jade.

I like it a lot, personally. =) What do you think?

lolol bad title. Shrug. here be the pretty.

Orly Pure Gold swatch. A beautiful matte, and the formula is to die for in mattes, IMO. It dries very quickly but not TOO quickly– like to the point where you can’t correct or else you’ll pull up the first layer.

Nummy. Baby blue chrome, what’s to hate?

I got a big ass Avon haul in today, and among these was the Avon Mirror Shine collection which I had heard was wonderful for stamping (I have been on a chrome polish collecting prowl lately I admit) so I got all their colors. Not to mention, they are having a big sale on their polish online as well.

Base Color: OPI Flit a Bit (From their 2010 Summer Flutter collection)
Stamping Color: Wet n Wild Black Creme (gee this sure is a staple, lol)

Wasn’t enough though…

Mattified for a final look 🙂 The matte topcoat used is Essie Matte About You.

Here lies a cautionary tale: Don’t apply a matte topcoat after stamping, apply a protective topcoat THEN matte it down. Why? It smudges!
