OPI Spark de Triomphe

OMG I love this glitter!! I wore it by itself, a whole THREE layers of glitter. Surprisingly, it was not that nasty to remove. 😉

Spark de Triomphe is a white gold glitter, in hexagonal and round shapes, suspended in a clear base. It’s an incredibly dense glitter. Most glitter do not achieve full coverage after three layers, but this one could. In my close up pics you can still see through my nails but the bling more than makes up for it!

So lovely *.* Everyone needs to own one!

A water marbling attempt. I don’t remember what colors I used. I just picked them and then realized this is like my third BLUE water marbling. I need to go into a different color territory, lol. I was testing out using masking fluid as a replacement for Liquid Palisade, which worked excellently well.

Pink Wednesday: a Three-fer!

Yes, that’s right for the price of One Pink Wednesday you get THREE! 😉

Base color: OPI Sparrow Me the Drama (another lover for the name! hah!)

The next week, I took out OPI Strawberry Margarita. It’s a bold, vibrant almost-honeysuckle pink creme, and layered that with China Glaze White Cap from their Anchors Away Spring 2011 collection.

At first I couldn’t decide if I wanted it all matte, or glossy. So I tried an accent nail and then decided…

All matte! Hehe.

And now for my final look…

For this one, I began with a coat of Revlon Luxe Laque, a dusty mauve-ish pink creme. It’s not on the range of Pepto Bismol, nor Barbie, but leaning towards almost pastel.

Then I layered Luxe Laque with Wet n Wild Hannah Pinktana, a scattered holographic glitter suspended in a clear base.

I think they go together nicely 🙂

I love this effect– I really love the silver shatter over a blue base, it just looks wonderful like that.

Pure Ice Crimson, with OPI Navy Shatter over it. It just looks black here, but I adore this effect. It looks just like cooling lava!

It was really interesting to look at. It looked almost multichromatic from afar due to insufficient contrast, and people thought they were like a chameleon. XD

My Private Jet

I have a version of OPI’s My Private Jet, it’s a very chocolate scattered holo polish. There are several versions of it rolling around the polish world, and I don’t think I got the right color 😦 It’s supposed to be insanely linear, and apparently charcoal? What I have is definitely not charcoal. Oh well… I do like this color anyway.

You can see the holo best in this photo, and see that it’s obviously not linear at all. It’s just got reflective bits.

My Private Jet

I have a version of OPI’s My Private Jet, it’s a very chocolate scattered holo polish. There are several versions of it rolling around the polish world, and I don’t think I got the right color 😦 It’s supposed to be insanely linear, and apparently charcoal? What I have is definitely not charcoal. Oh well… I do like this color anyway.
