Archives for category: dots

I’ve had this idea just rolling around and idling in my brain for MONTHS. Months, I say. Torture? Yes. Very much.

Bubblegum
Base: OPI Alpine Snow in Matte
Dots: Various pinks, I used about 7 different pinks, all cremes. However I can’t remember the name of them all. 😛

The dots were freehanded using dotting tools from Born Pretty. Here’s some spam, because I really like this manicure and I know you will too.

An interesting thing I noticed, the dots were very defined until I applied Seche Vite, which at that point they blurred and adopted this dreamy feel. Cool huh? 🙂

So I obtained the Forever After collection, which is of six colors with equally awesome names and colors. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted to use for tonight, so the obvious solution was to use them all! I’m not sure if I should have used Fiercely Fiona as a base, though. Bit neon for me. I also don’t wear yellow.

Yes yes I was excited and took the pic right after the top coat was applied. So you get flooded cuticles! The OPI formula for this one was a bit thinner than I was used to and kind of streaky, so I put a bit more product on my nails than I expected to and hence the cuticles drowned in yellow cream. In these pictures it seems to be difficult to distinguish between the light blue (What’s With the Cattitude) and light purple (Rumple’s Wiggin’) dots.
