Began with three coats of Essie Lilacism. Yes. It is sheer and streaky. Pretty pastel color though.

Layered Sally Hansen’s Hidden Treasure over it… Too subtle for me actually, but it was pretty.

China Glaze Crackle in Fault Line over it. Liked this one quite a bit.

Was hard to see the flakies through, though. Maybe if I added several coats of the flakies? Anyway I scrapped it, and ultimately went outside with…

Essie Lilacism, stamped with Fauxnad and used bullion beads from the BM gem set over the natural dots in the stamping pattern. Stamp color: Sally Hansen Chrome in Royal Purple

Pretty 🙂 The bullion beads were a tad too bumpy for me though.

Paired Color Club’s What A Shock! with China Glaze Broken Hearted over it. Why? ‘Cause I can!

Neon green and pink? Yes, indeed. This only stayed on a few hours because the topcoat I used is pretty much almost out, and because of this it’s really goopy and causing mad shrinkage as you can see on my ring finger up there. And shrinkage BUUUUUUGS me.

Started off with OPI Ski Teal We Drop (which stained my hands horribly btw this is why I rarely wear teals/blues!!)

A layer of OPI Paris Couture For Sure glitter topcoat, which I LOVE. It doesn’t behave like an actual glitter and by that I mean it doesn’t stick on like barnacles to your nail bed, and then get in everywhere– your face, your hair, your hands, arms, bra… It comes right off 😀

Taped off the sections for the blue stripes.

I like this a lot, so shiny 😀

So I got real tired of the Valentine mani, right and decided today I would go for something more understated and subtle instead of the obnoxious neons I’ve been doing.

So I pulled out China Glaze Below Deck for the base, and China Glaze Jitterbug for the stamping. 🙂

You can see the detailing better here.

My friend Robert (the matron of our friend circle) decided that he’d like his nails done, and I came up with a blue scheme for him, and he picked the star stamp out of the Bundle Monster collection.

This shows the colors slightly better…

We were trying to figure out the best “hand pose” to show all of the nails as the stars are each in different places, and we tried this one– lol, cthulhu much? 😀

Colors used: OPI What’s With the Cattitude? for base, and OPI Who the Shrek Are You? for the darker blue star.
