So my case of fimo canes from Born Pretty came in… I didn’t realize it was from them that I ordered (I’d gotten half pearls and bullion beads as well as two stamp plate sets from their website already) on eBay, but they included a business card in my package that told me, apparently.

The stuff I got– to the right is the fimo cutters, fimo canes, above it is this scary thing that they advertised as “nail glue” but on it it says SUPER GLUE and everything else is in another language. To the right is two empty nail art wheels for storing them in.

Size of the fimo cutter– I personally like this a lot than using a box cutter or whatever. I can grip on the top and push down with both hands, which gives me a lot more control.

 Tiny canes!

Look how small they are– wow.

Below begins a series of “What is This?” haha

Is this a rabbit like I think?
 NO idea.
Is this.. Idk. It’s yellow on the bottom, then it has a white “icing” between then that pink thing on top. It’s some sort of food I guess?
I’m thinking the left is a cupcake. Right, no idea. What say you?
Cute designer labels!!

Here’s a funny story… I excitedly told Nick that my fimo canes came in. He’d been hearing me whine and look forward to them for the past (almost three) two weeks. So he came up, and I showed him how I sliced one. Naturally I messed it up, while right before my very first five slices had been perfect– I mess up when people look, of course. C’est la vie. I ask him if he’d like to give it a whirl. He tries… and these three muck ups happened, evidence pictured above. Guess what he said? “I guess you’re better at this than I am.”

LOVE IT. hahah. He’s a perfectionist, and while never meaning to, always makes me feel like I have to be competitive because he naturally does things better than me since he approaches everything with caution and tons of observation.
